New Store Alert: CÜR

We’re excited to announce our partnership with CÜR, allowing TuneCore Artists to distribute to a brand new streaming service and reach a wider audience. Artists and fans alike have a lot to keep up with these days when it comes to music streaming options. At this point you might be wondering about the benefits of getting your music on another streaming service, so let’s take a look at what makes CÜR unique and why you might want to take advantage of it.

CÜR is a streaming platform made just for the ‘sharing generation’ – you know, those music super fans who love to hook their friends and family up with whatever new music they’re digging at any given time. Because everyone wants to be the first in their circle to know what’s new and hot, right?

CÜR is paving the way in social streaming. Users who sign up will CUR Music Mobilehave access to a library of over 10 million songs via the web, iOS and Android devices. With seamless text, Facebook and Twitter integration, ‘influencer’ music fans using the app will be able to message their favorite new music to friends and family, and even include an attached photo or video.

Perhaps one of the coolest features of CÜR lies in the user/artist profile. Known as the “CÜR8”, users pick up to 8 songs that ‘define them’ and can be swapped out daily. They can even add personal photos and videos, and browse their friends’ and favorite artists’ CÜR8s.

For you, the artist, this means adding videos that serve as a way to offer a tidbit about your songs, have fun with your fans, add a personal message, or promote whatever is going on with you at the moment – it’ll play directly before the song (for 8 seconds) and be added to fans’ playlists!

Additionally, CÜR is set on making their platform a place to discover. Each user will have access to an activity stream that allows them to take a peek at what their friends on the app are listening to and what artists they’re adding as a friend.
