Did you know that the Beatles were originally called The Silver Beetles? Terrible band name, right? Well, they were! And today back in 1960 they auditioned to be Billy Fury’s backing band. Obviously they did bigger things, but it’s important to know these other not-so-great names they considered: The Beatals and Long John and the Silver Beetles. What could have been! Anyhow, enjoy these wonderful music videos from an eclectic line-up of hardworking TuneCore Artists:

Torion, “Dinero (feat. Dae Dae)”

Z. Rich, “Snappin’ Lately (feat. Tommy Nova)”

D Dweller, “Homeless (feat. DTL)”

Marco Pave, “Sacrifice (feat. Thank Aaron)”

Slydigs, “How Animal Are You”

Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors, “Rowdy Heart, Broken Wing”

Ella Vos, “White Noise”

SadGirl, “Little Queenie”

Young Quicks, “Root of Evil (Money, Money)”

Ivory Hours, “Dreamer”

Did you know today marks the 34th anniversary of the release of Michael Jackson’s Thriller?! That’s right – a casual 50 million copies sold, almost 200 weeks on the charts, and some of the most iconic pop singles of all time. And do you remember the music videos?! Well. If that’s not a reason to fire up some audio-visual distraction, we don’t know what is.

Miya Folick, “Pet Body”

Ryan Caraveo, “Real Right Now’

Lowland Hum, “Older, Wiser”

Icelandia, “Paper Suns”

Kenny Holland, “Matter To You”

Jamie Grace, “Party Like a Princess”

India.Arie, “Breathe”

Marco Pavé, “Cake”

Mystery Known, “Fly Music”

Mystic Braves, “Desert Island”
