Avowed
general info
During this time of musical mediocrity, when even the weakest of musicians claim dominance, it’s rare to find a group with unconditional dedication to both their performance and songwriting. The four Los Angeles based musicians who make up Avowed have just that dedication necessary to create an album sure to stand out from the pack.
Each member is professionally trained in their craft with years of experience not just as players, but also as writers and performers. Each contributes a level of skill and talent that continually raises the bar of expectation both on and off stage creating an uncompromising energy when all four meet in the middle. And that’s exactly what happened when creating their debut, self-titled album…an uncompromising pursuit for perfected songwriting.
After countless hours, days, and months crafting their vision, sound, and songs Avowed teamed up with Brent Clawson (Bullets and Octane, The Knives) to produce their album. With stand out tracks like “How Does It Feel” and “Save The Angels” the band successfully call upon their influences, such as Alice In Chains and Porcupine Tree, while creating their own raw but succinct sound and identity.
It’s this identity that is sure to separate Avowed from the current black hole of redundant rock bands.
