Sebastian Silva (a.k.a. Basti), is a Dj/Producer and musician from Argentina. At nine, he started playing piano at the local music school, and switched to guitar at 15. He formed a few different bands and during this time he learned to play drums as well. In 2000, he moves to Miami looking to expand his musical career. Once here he discovers his passion for Electronic Dance Music and starts Djing at house parties in South Beach. Since then he has been playing, performing and producing different styles of music. His musical tastes and influences include Techno, Minimal, Maximal, Electro, House, Punk-Rock, Indie/Alternative, Brit-Pop, Ambient, Experimental, Lounge/Chill-Out and Acid Jazz. During his sessions, he combines organic and acoustic elements with electronic beats, creating different vibes for different settings. His sets have been heard in Chicago, Barcelona, Ibiza and Buenos Aires and in local spots such as Nikki Beach, Pearl, Nocturnal, Crobar, Delano, The Four Seasons, Novecento, Sushi Samba, Blue Lounge, Grass, Centro and many more. He is currently working at the studio, finishing tracks to be released later this year.
