Liner Notes: Throughout the 2000s I recorded hours & hours of random material which I burned to CD every year and gave as cheap Christmas presents to my friends and relatives. Some of that music was bad, most of it was mediocre, and some of it was good. These 10 tracks are an eclectic mix of my best original creations. I identified this album's genre as "jazz/folk" but the material defies classification, as it spans a range of various styles and textures. I played everything heard on this album, except the sampled drums in track 7, "100 Bars." (The loops I used came from a freeware disk packaged with the sampler, original drummer unknown.) The instrument pictured on the cover is a Risa Uke-Electric Tenor. You'll hear it on several tracks. I hope you enjoy my music. Dr. Phlogiston
