(Spain, Chile, United States)
This particular roots reggae group was born out of many travels, three brothers who along with their parents left Chile in 1973 after their version of 9/11 which also took place on a Tuesday. Their family arrived on the Caribbean island of Montserrat, Lesser Antilles in November of that same year after adjusting with a moderate stay in Caracas, Venezuela and then San Juan, Puerto Rico. Growing up as youths they met and learned from many Rastafarians, listened to soca, calypso and of course reggae music. Arrow, composer of the hit song "Hot, Hot, Hot" was a local artist at that time and quite active at the yearly carnival celebrations. In the ghettos in those times Jimmy Cliff & The Wailers were the popular voice of the people and a musical phenomena in the Caribbean.
About 7 1/2 years later their family moved to the USA and it was at this particular time while going to school that Iration Int'l was born. Music became a sort of cure in coping with discrimination and so many other obstacles they faced in the suburbs of New Jersey. In school they discovered musical instruments and saw an opportunity to learn, so they did that and it just happened naturally. Their first performance was at Ramapo High School's talent show in 1986 and for the group it was an experience to remember. Iration Int'l jammed for a few years until everyone went to college or technical training. The group got together during the summers to make recordings and rehearse.
Iration Int'l finally got a break to be part of a leg of the Tri-ad Reggae Sunsplash in 1991 held in Greensboro, North Carolina. They opened up for JC Lodge from Jamaica, Mojo Nya, Truth and Rights and Art Awareness Ensemble, this was the first time they performed at a big festival or venue. The three brothers were not alone at the beginning of this journey, Keith and Carney both from Montserrat use to stop by their house to rehearse on weekends, included were Diederik Olislager, David Ondrick and Rich Tozzoli whom completed the band. Last but not least was the support and guidance of a Jamaican by the name of Mr. Loran Hector who provided the group with wise solid advice and funds at that time to stay at a Hotel & Resort in North Carolina during the Sunsplash festival. One year later Mr. Hector flew Iration Int'l to Kingston, Jamaica where they recorded their first single "The Day After" published by the Independent label "Mission 101 Records" in April of 1992. After that experience Patricio visited Chile in early 1993 while promoting the single and within a year they were all rehearsing together again. They naturally began to compose songs in spanish and by 1997 had enough material to record their first album.
Iration Int'l traveled to New York City to work and pay for their debut album and it took them roughly about 3 years to complete, but the experience attained from this process was invaluable. Iration Int'l performed at Bucknell University in Pennsylavania, Upsala College, Fort Lee, Soho -The Village and The Bronx, usually at many small venues, restaurants and pubs through out the Tri-State Area. Once the album was completed they decided to return to Chile where they met Mr. Dennis Stone who opened up Chile's first reggae and apparel store. It was a solid bond and soon enough Mr. Stone booked Iration Int'l on a once a week gig at the Boomerang in uptown Providencia. Iration Int'l eventually rented their own rehearsal space and are still traveling back and forth between the US and Chile at least every 6 or 7 months of the year.
Soon enough Iration Int'l began intensive rehearsals and it was at this particular time that they had the privilege of being the backing band for Artists like Ky-mani Marley and Andrew Tosh. Iration Int'l performed at huge venues such as the National Stadium Santiago, Chile in front of more than 70,000 people at least three times during 2000 - 2003. In 2005 they joined once again Ky-mani Marley at the Pista Atletica to perform alongside his group the closing songs of the night "Burnin n Lootin" & "One Love".
On Feb. 3, 2007 Iration Int'l opened up for Matisyahu at the legendary Teatro Caupolican, performing a driving set which really lit up the venue. In the USA during the summer of 2008 Iration Int'l debuted @ The 1st Annual Budweiser Reggae SummerFest held at RFK Stadium, Washington DC on Sept. 7th to kickoff promoting their worldwide release of "En Exilio / In Exile". Iration Int'l were part of a line-up of Artistes such as Beres Hammond, Etana, Iwayne, Chuck Fender, Turbulence, Ky-mani, Ruth and many more. Iration Int'l was invited to perform once agaiin at the Reggae Summerfest 2009, but due to their Latin American Tour could not attend. In early 2009 they released the single "Amor Eres Tu". The album "Instrumental" which are all instrumental and dub mixes taken from the sessions of the "En Exilio" album hit the worldwide market in April of 2010. On Jan. 01, 2011 the release of the singles "Deportation" & "Deportation Dub" which features Eek-A-Mouse, one of Jamaica's legendary arists and the originator of the singjay style. The follow up single release on Feb. 06th, 2011 is the song "Just Cool & Stop" by the new rising female Artiste Sista Rebel, which is making a mark of her own with her smooth intuitive lyrical talent. A remix single "Amor Eres Tu" is scheduled for release on Mar. 7, 2011.
Iration Int'l has also taken up the task of being a backing band in Latin America and on the 3rd of December, 2009 they became the backing band for the first visit of the International Jamaican Artist Junior Kelly @ the renowned Teatro Caupolican, performing a high energy set list of songs such as Receive, Sick Of Dem Story, Hungry Days, Tough Life, Jah Nuh Dead, Black Am I, Blaze, More I See You, Love So Nice Deeper, Black Woman & Push The Fire with a public attendance of roughly 3,000 people.

Their social en-devour is quite clear and they are planning the "Las Americas Music Festival" to not only give rise to conscious music and many artists in this region but to donate and assist the youths in the areas of education, sports and music.
Iration Int'l has been around independently for over two decades and their first recording "The Day After" has already hit its 25 year mark and succeeds in baring the test of time.
