Jamie Griffin

Jamie Griffin is a singer / songwriter based on the Isle of Wight.

He plays around most pubs/ clubs on the island but other places include Guilford and the Cotswolds. He has just come back from a successful month in Germany gigging. 2006/7 saw him play at the famous cavern club and the Nokia I.O.W festival with a total of 260 live performances. He plays solo but sometimes as a duo with various others.

Being a songwriter he has written a number of songs that are available to listen to and buy at his gigs and from his websites www.jamiegriffin.co.uk / www.flyterecords.co.uk. He writes and produces his music in his own studio that he runs on the isle of Wight. He plays Blues, Jazz, Folk and some of today’s artists songs as well as his own. He has been playing guitar since he was 4 with influences such as Eric Clapton, Paul Weller and Elton John and local influences such as J.C and Angelina and Paul Armfield. Jamie plays the acoustic guitar but also likes to play Mandolin and Harmonica.
