FOREVER ONWARD & The Meta-Sen EP Now available

Sen aka Mr. Metasen

As an emcee, producer and professional photographer, Sen aka “Mr. Metasen” has spent most of his life capturing the world around him in stunning detail. Whether behind a camera, keyboard or microphone, the Brooklyn-born hip-hop artist brings a unique and refreshing perspective to everyday life.

“The Metasen”, is a self-produced EP featuring a soulful blend of positive, progressive hip-hop lyrics set against a backdrop of incredible instrumentation. The EP was inspired by Sen’s growing frustration with the status quo. “It’s really just me digging beneath the surface of what I see in the world and within myself, and presenting it as it is. You can think of it as a compilation of my deeper and, at times, unspoken thoughts.” The EP features up and coming R&B artist Okema Moore, saxophonist Tivon Pennicott and trombonist Ernest Stuart.

“The Metasen” is actually Sen’s second release. The first was “The Mirror”, an album released independently in August 2007. Although “The Mirror” was not a commercial success, Mr. Metasen credits the album with opening doors to numerous live performances and appearances on popular internet radio shows. “It was an invaluable learning experience that helped me to grow as an artist,” Sen explains. “I have a much better understanding of how to make sure my vision comes to light without thinking about what critics have to say.”

Building upon the lessons learned from his last release, Sen will be supporting “The Metasen” with a promotional campaign that includes live performances, music videos and social media marketing. His plan is to leverage the power of the internet to raise awareness of the project, network, identify new avenues of exposure and continue to grow his fan base.
