Immensely talented songwriter and actor MyQuan Jackson has released his debut single “Act Up” that is quickly gaining traction in music charts worldwide, while also following up with a new movie on Netflix called “Percentage,” which stars Camron, and Omar Gooding, among others.
MyQuan started his love for music from a young age, and quickly found an avenue to grow his talent by being a songwriter for the New Kids On The Block. Sure enough, his songwriting and musical talents wouldn’t escape the attention of industry bigwigs, and he would go on to collaborate and produce with artists such as Bobby Brown, Boys2Men, Jada Kiss, Mike Mcary, Marky Mark, and the Funky Bunch.
Music aside, MyQuan Jackson is also talented in the acting department, and was most notably singled out for his award winning performance in “Black, White & Red All Over,” screened at the Sundance Film Festival (1997). More to that, MyQuan has worked alongside the likes of Will Smith, Duane Martin, Vivica A. Fox, Stacey Dash, Donnie Wahlberg, Terrence Howard, Queen Latifah, among others, in various movie roles.
Most recently, MyQuan Jackson has credits in the film “Percentage,” where he co-stars alongside Omar Gooding, Ving Rhames, and Camron. He’s also appeared in the film “House of Bodies,” where he works alongside Terrence Howard, Queen Latifah, and Peter Fonda.
His debut single “Act Up” is already a hit with many, and was featured as the title song for the feature film “The Mannsfield 12.” This achievement led to more opportunities, with HBO featuring the song on “Girl’s Guide to Depravity.”
