Nancy Reed

Nancy Reed, Singer/Pianist/Composer/recently came out of retirement when Atlantic Records released a BIG BAND album of her original songs, vocals and piano solos "Jazz Singer". Nancy was featured at Carnegie Hall with Skitch Henderson and The New York pops. She appeared on “MIAMI VICE” and performed nationwide in concerts and cabarets. Prior to her marriage and raising four children in Ohio and Florida. Nancy attended juilliard on a scholarship. She began her career as a vocalist and pianist with named bands Hal McIntyre, Skitch Henderson, and finally Benny Goodman with whom she toured Europe. Nancy sang on numerous band recordings and then solos at the Rubau Bleu in New York and cabarets nationwide. She appeared on the Frank Sinatra Show and others. Now, She and her banker husband, Joseph Kanter divide their time between Miami Beach and Los Angeles. Joe and Nancy are devoted to the Kanter Family Foundation, To develop a National outcomes Data-base with the US government.
