- 06/17/2003

Liner Notes: Released on June 17th, 2003, Twistology is arguably Ollie Twist's greatest project to date. This is a must have for any supporter of the Rhyme Skeme or even just a fan of underground hip-hop in general. This 65 minute, 16 track solo album is packed with smooth, layered production, intelligent lyrics and fierce intensity.
The overall quality of this record far surpassed any Rhyme Skeme Production up to this point. There are many factors to consider that made this CD so great.
For the first time Twist teamed up with Phenom and the Mental Instruments Music Company adding a great dynamic to the album. Collecting production from other artists at this point had never been done before on such a grand scale, giving Twist more time to focus on his verses. The album was done with no explicit content or profanity, amazingly without loosing any integrity.
From the listeners perspective the album has a relatively positive vibe, encouraging learning and fighting back against political systems for progressive change. Simultaneously, Twistology is well-balanced with darker tracks that expose the anger of Ollie Twist. An ingenious blend of light and darkness.
For a local CD, Twistology did respectably well and helped cultivate a solid fan base. It also harbored a significant degree of anticipation for the next Rhyme Skeme project Organized Rhyme. Technically Twist has not released another album since considering Nucleus (2005) was done under alias, and the fact that both records have very little in common. Twist is currently working on the follow-up which he claims will be a 24 track double CD.

- 08/17/2004

Liner Notes: This is a massive collaborative reunion of original members from the RS.
Organized Rhyme is the milestone album from Connecticut's alternative independent hip hop group Rhyme Skeme. The album was released in August of 2004 and features the singles "Dupa", "The Final Hour" & "Reality Strikes". The track "Reality Strikes" features and was produced by Wu-Tang Clan affiliate Remedy Ross. Music Company Mental Instruments also provided production to the project. Filled with tons of lyrics and artists, this lengthy and versatile album is the groups biggest recording accomplishment to date.

Nucleus
- Alternative, Hip Hop/Rap
- Nucleus
- 10/31/2005

Liner Notes: The Nucleus is the second full length major release from the RS Clan's mastermind Ollie Twist. Fusing into the usual mix of chemicals, Twist insisted on plotting on a loosely defined concept album to represent his position and responsibilities as leader of the personality collage that is the Rhyme Skeme. Twist has always been the center and main artery of the Rhyme Skeme and makes clear public recognition of that fact on this record. Nucleus constantly challenges the listener, captivating and confusing, but ultimately proving its point. A darker record than Twistology and arguably not as versatile, Nucleus is undisputed in it's quality and consistency. Twist claims it to be a one time project with no intention of ever releasing a sequel under this alias. In fact Twist has no desire relive the experience of remaking an album like the Nucleus, which he states was the most stressful and tedious of all his solo projects in his entire career. Twist recorded over 40 tracks for the album and was constantly editing and rerecording tracks and rethinking concepts time and time again. Perhaps the album lost a shade of luster in the grand speculation of the recording process, where some of Twist's greatest works were lost and left behind. Also there was isolated incidents of turmoil within the group at the time which is clearly expressed on the record. But in the end just completing the project was such a huge accomplishment it is currently Twist's personal favorite album and equally as large an accomplishment as Organized Rhyme & Twistology. It should be understood and recognized that some of Twist's finest production and structural arrangement lies within this album and should be studied and admired by every Rhyme Skeme fan as the Nucleus is complex and worth careful observation. In it's scope, Nucleus captures the passion and focus of an artist determined to prove himself and raise awareness of his world views, while remaining a powerful force not to be reckoned with within the underground network.

Clear The Haze
- Alternative, Hip Hop/Rap
- Kastro/Bluntz Deep
- 11/23/2006

Liner Notes: After 2.5 years of recording and rehearsing Kastro's full length solo debut Clear The Haze finally materialized and was released in November of 2006. Kastro is the latest addition to RSP debuting on Razor Cuts in '02 and consistently featuring to the level of a lead MC on every following RSP album. Not only the newest but the most formidable MC, Kastro's album is lyrically ingenious and the production is some of the best to come out of the lab. Clear The Haze almost never came out (due to turmoil in Kastro's own life), but under the guidance of Ollie Twist the album was finished, although not fully mixed or mastered, and released to the public. Even with unmastered tracks this album resonates as one of the strongest in the RSP library. Full of energy and wit the lyrics mesh with the production in an almost sublime way. The shining star of the album is a collaboration between Kastro and Ollie Twist called "Teflon Thesis", with a monster beat and monster lyrics to match this track is sure to be a banger for years to come. This singular track shows the future of RSP. Some of the cuts from the album such as "Mynd Blown", "Thrillride", and "New Beginning" are well over 2 years old and have been rocked at shows for about the same amount of time. This album also brought the debut of Will McCoy, a friend and protege of Kastro, who lent his skill to the album to further add depth to the project. Also appearing is the ever present Ollie Twist (RSP Capo) and another member of Kastro's side project, Dangerous Myndz, Gotti Rokk. "Clear the Haze" is a masterwork in its own right and will stick in fans heads for a long time to come.

Liner Notes: Rhyme Skeme Productions teamed up with Mental Instruments to create the FREQUENCY
420 record featuring artists Ollie Twist and Tommy Marin. The album is focused and dedicated in both a commercial and underground aspect with developed lyrics and catchy hooks on practically every track. The production is smooth and layered consisting of mainly hip hop grooves that work together in a timeless quality. The first single off the record is the aggressive and gritty cut "Lazy Eye" featuring Raekwon from Wu-Tang Clan, while the other singles such as "Freak" and "Raise Up" have more of a club vibe to them. Versatile and fresh above all, FREQUENCY 420 is one of the most effective underground hip-hop albums to ever come out of Connecticut.
