Phil Bearce - Singer-Songwriter-Musician
Phil has been involved in the many aspects of the Bay Area music scene for the last 20 years or so. Playing in bands and duos, he has played area stages including the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley and the Sweetwater in Mill Valley. He is an active member of the West Coast Songwriters, managing the Songwriter Showcase at the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley and the CD tables at the WCS annual conference. Also, for a little over a decade, he has volunteered with long time Bay Area organization, Bread and Roses, hosting and playing shows in many Bay Area instititutions.
As member of the acoustic rock duo Pale Moon Sky, produced two albums of original music. Our song Life Goes On, from the CD "This Feels Like Home", was licensed to Miramax Television for a WB series called Glory Days.
Currently with the band "Country Grunge", Phil plays electric and acoustic guitars, bouzouki, mandolin, harmonica, banjitar, and various percussion instruments.

We started out as the Tim Ryan Band, and then Ryan and Bearce, and then Pale Moon Sky. Named after a race horse I once saw run and I song I wrote right afterward. Strangely, Tim and I never recorded that tune.
"Life Goes On" from this CD got played on a shortlived WB TV show called Glory Days.
