Liner Notes: The tracks on Quiet Talks were written as a way to relax. Not so much in the listening, but in the playing. With the exception of "JD Park", which was written in Florida, the tracks were written and recorded in Lesmahagow, in rural Scotland, and the cover photo was taken from the studio. All the tracks were written as a way of getting away from the restrictions of writing film score music, which doesn't allow for much freedom. With the exception of "Faith" which was written as part of the UK's Millennium celebrations, and was part of an installation in the Dome in London.
