Soundsmove
David Goodall has been writing music for film and television for over 25 years. The tracks on his albums are personal projects he produces in his studio in rural Scotland. He formed Soundsmove in 1996 as a composition and post-production facility, but with over 12 years of success, Soundsmove has since moved into publishing as a record label, and works with artists from around the world.
Tour Dates
Quiet Talks
- New Age, Electronic
- David Goodall
- 03/25/2009

Liner Notes: The tracks on Quiet Talks were written as a way to relax. Not so much in the listening, but in the playing. With the exception of "JD Park", which was written in Florida, the tracks were written and recorded in Lesmahagow, in rural Scotland, and the cover photo was taken from the studio.
All the tracks were written as a way of getting away from the restrictions of writing film score music, which doesn't allow for much freedom. With the exception of "Faith" which was written as part of the UK's Millennium celebrations, and was part of an installation in the Dome in London.
My thanks go to Anna Newell for her vocal on "Lacrimosa"

Liner Notes: Written about domestic abuse, and how many reasons there are to leave, but how difficult it is; how outsiders can't understand why abused partners don't leave; how the abused say anything to hide what's happening, because they lose all perspective of self-worth
