Liner Notes: My name is Spook or Luke (Sharples) to my parents, I've been making music for about 10 years now and it all started when my parents bought me a Creative Labs Blaster Keys Keyboard and I plugged it into my Awe 32 sound card. Needless to say I have upgraded since then to a MOTU interfaces, EMU samplers, High-end Synths, MC303, DR202, Lexicon, behringer, korg and alesis outboard. I wouldn''t know how to define my music at all, it''s a bit of a mix between trip hop, drum and bass, basic four to the flour dance, ambient, IDM, Hell it's a bit of everything. I've got a pretty wide range of influences including Goldie, David Bowie, Autechre, Aphex Twin, Prodigy, SquarePusher, Blur, Concord Dawn, UNKLE and Pendulum to name but a few. I've always had a love for music and I only really began to recognise how much when I started to listen to music on computer games such as Sonic the Hedgehog on the Mega Drive or Wipe Out on the PlayStation. It's a very odd way to fall into a hobby but that's really how it started, so as a result I'm not formally trained in music, I just like to hear sounds and bung 'em together! I've been trying to avoid making music that would appeal to the teenybopper type crowd and more that the leftfield, dance or even Indie would appreciate. When I write my tunes I try to think of a situation, a person or just a idea and try to structure the tune around that. Well I've just about ran out of things to say, I hope that you haven't fallen asleep reading this, or even worse fallen asleep listening to my tunes.
