Liner Notes: Music inspired by the fine culture of the Myanmar People. U Jon Gyi delivers a unique cross cultural perspective with a world-pop style with lyrics in both English and Myanmar. Winner of Best Music Video in the US, U JON GYI drives a new perspective between both the West and the East. The three songs on this mini-album translate Myanmar words into English with musical support of the associated human emotions. Pay May Yu Ma Lah - roughly translates as "share with me" and is sung as a serenade of affection. Mingalar - translates as "good for you" as in a blessing. Myanmar Buddhist basic teachings are spoken and translated into English with the song reaching a modern climax of spiritual celebration. Ain Pyan Lah May - meaning "I'm coming back home" is a respectful tribute to the fine qualities of the Myanmar culture that have impacted visitors to country for decades.
