Self-taught pianist/composer leaning towards the 'jazz' arena, but my own variety thereof. But other styles might be thrown in: classical,or classical-romantic,modal,blues,etc.As pertaining especially to solo piano 'work'.This might lead to speculation about my ability to focus on one thing. However, with a multi-track format, there's more of a centering on one 'style'...I'm more of an artist with a painterly or improvisational approach to 'composition'.
Development is either minimal, unconscious,or ignored. However, when recording improvisation has become tiresome, there is involvement with notation-programs that are used to compose a piece with many parts executed or performed by the computer.Only one piece on the first album put out on Tunecore uses this process. It is 'STARHOPPING'.
