TuneCore has partnered with Universal Premedia Services to provide you affordable, digital booklets and album covers. For a limited time, for only $50 (U.S. dollars, offer available worldwide), you can work with Universal Premedia Services to create a .PDF booklet along with an album cover.

What does a .PDF booklet do for me?

• Digital booklets are an incentive to purchase a full-length album and a useful tool for sending to publishers, writers, critics, marketers, retailers and more.
• TuneCore now offers the ability for you to create a digital booklet even if you have no packaging for a physical equivalent!
• It's an easy way to create with control: you provide 1,200 words of copy and 3 to 8 photos, then choose from one of 4 pre-formatted templates. We do the rest!

IMPORTANT: TuneCore Digital Booklets are accepted at iTunes. They will be available only to those who purchase the entire album or who use Complete My Album (CMA) option. If your album has fewer than 10 songs, including a .PDF booklet may cause iTunes to set the price of your entire album to the maximum.

How does it work?

• Pick one of the four styles that we have available (we'll email you the choices).
• Background colors are black, white or a complimentary color.
• Send payment to Universal Premedia Services, who will contact you via email one business day from receipt.
• In this email, you will receive detailed instructions on how to upload your images via our Internet Gateway and what format files to deliver.
• Once we receive your properly formatted files, turnaround is two business days. If you have any additional questions, write pdfbooklets@tunecore.com.

Text Do's and Don'ts

DO Provide an MicroSoft Word Doc with 1,200 words or less for digital booklet copy.

• DO include artist and title
• DO include track listings, track times and performer information
• DO include producer and publishing information
• DO include copyright
• DO include lyrics
• DO organize information so that it flows logically per the book

Don't include links to source of purchase other than iTunes.
Don't forget to proofread as changes are an additional cost.

YOU WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL FEE TO ADJUST THE BOOKLET AFTER YOU HAVE SENT THE MATERIALS AND UNIVERSAL HAS MADE A BOOKLET. ONCE A BOOKLET IS SUBMITTED TO ITUNES, IT CAN NOT BE CHANGED/EDITED IN ANY WAY.

Images Do’s and Don’ts

DO Provide 3, 4, 6 or 8 publicity images.

• DO send 300 dpi images as RGB .JPEG images
• DO send 4 x 5 minimum, up to 8 x 10 maximum, for publicity images
• DO send horizontal images ONLY!
• DO send 3” x 3”, 150 dpi, RGP .JPEG images, for cover (optional)

Don't send images that are less than 300 dpi.
Don't try to upsize images if they are not big enough (you cannot grow magic pixels).
