Place your CD into your computer.

Once the iTunes software detects that the CD is in the computer (this may take a moment), it should automatically ask you if you want to import your CD. Click "Yes."
The iTunes software will import (rip) the songs from your CD and move them to your computer in .WAV format. |

OR, If iTunes doesn't ask, just wait until your CD appears in the "Devices" section in iTunes.
Here's how it will look if your CD is named "Improvisations for Piano". |

On the lower left corner of the iTunes software window, there is a button that reads "Import CD."
Click "Import" and the iTunes software will import (rip) the songs from your CD and move them to your computer in .WAV format. |

| EITHER WAY, when your CD is ripped, you'll see this result in iTunes: |

| Note: your songs probably won't display their correct names automatically. You can click the song names in iTunes to rename them so that you can easily find them later. |
