Between countless headlining tour dates, major festivals, and recording, TuneCore Publishing Administration writer Doug Appling (artist name, Emancipator) has enjoyed a steady ascent to mass popularity since his 2006 debut. Known for ethereal melodies, immaculately smooth samples, and addictive drum beats, Appling’s music captivates diverse audiences across the globe. The down-tempo electronica/trip-hop producer recently sold out a headlining show at the El Rey in Los Angeles and will be direct support for Shpongle at Red Rocks Amphitheatre this month.
TuneCore Publishing Administration client Lenny Macaluso is a songwriter and composer with featured works in Boogie Nights, 80’s sitcom My Two Dads, and cult classic Star Wars satire, Spaceballs. The Canada-raised maestro began his career as a guitarist and music director for Tina Turner and continues to produce songs with contributions in NBC’s Believe and Legit on FXX. More recently, Mr. Macaluso composed the theme song for a new installment of the Transformers video game.
No Stranger to the rock n’ roll scene, Richie Kotzen was signed to Shrapnel Records at the formative age of 19. He released three solo records before joining the glam-metal band Poison, performing and co-writing on their 1991 album Native Tongue. He continued to work with legends like Mr. Big, Stanley Clarke and, most recently, notable supergroup The Winery Dogs. The Winery Dogs are currently touring in support of their debut record and were featured on VH1’s That Metal Show. Mr. Kotzen’s signature shredding can be heard on his 2011 solo album entitled 24 Hours; proudly administered by TuneCore Music Publishing.
