Predictably, we’ve arrived at yet another Wednesday afternoon here at the TuneCore Blog. As you might know, this is our favorite time of the week to distract everyone from their least favorite part of the week by offering a round up of TuneCore Artist music videos and random bits of music history. Like today, for example. Did you know that on this day back in 1964, music legend Louis Armstrong became the oldest artist to hit #1 on the charts with his smash “Hello Dolly” at age 62? Well he did! Age ain’t nothin’ but a number baby (as Tony Bennett would prove once again in 2011, topping Armstrong at the age of 85). Who’ll be next, we wonder.
