“When I was a teenager, I spent a lot of time wandering my suburban town alone- Yet despite my sad boy status, I’ve always felt a yearning to find meaning in those quiet places of solitude <cue ominous paper bag blowing in the wind>. In all seriousness, I’ll never forget the first time I took my cd player and climbed out onto my roof to watch the sunset. I remember staring at the sky as if I was looking into a mirror. Something about the grandness gave me a lot of comfort in my loneliness. Now as an adult, I look back at these independent moments with such heavy inspiration; there’s a lot of poetic truth to your own wandering and I’m very grateful that concept also flows into how I get to navigate as an artist. Tunecore is a great fit for the simplistic fact that I still feel free to wander.”
