TuneCore x The Team Around You Contest 2026: Official Rules

VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

DEFINITIONS:

1. Sponsors: TuneCore Inc. (“TuneCore”) and The Team Around You (“TAY”).

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER:

1. Entrant must be between the ages of eighteen (18) and thirty (30) years old (for the avoidance of doubt, if the Entrant is a musical group, all members of the group must be eighteen (18) years of age or older but not more than 30 years old). Employees of TuneCore, TAY and members of such employee’s immediate families are not eligible to enter the Contest.
2. Entrant must be a legal citizen of the United Kingdom or Ireland (for the avoidance of doubt, if the Entrant is a musical group, all members of the group must be legal citizens of the United Kingdom or Ireland).
3. Entrant must be a TuneCore account holder (for either music distribution or publishing administration) at the time of entry.
4. Entrant must enter the Contest as described below.

HOW TO ENTER:

1. Entrant may enter the Contest by agreeing to these Rules and following the instructions located at the following URL:https://www.tunecore.com/en-gb/tunecore-newcomer-mentorship.
2. Entry Period: Contest entries must be made on or after February 27, 2026, and no later than 11:59:59 PM ET, March 17, 2026 (the “Entry Period”).
3. Any attempt by Entrant to enter using multiple/different addresses, accounts, identities, registrations, logins or geographical locations, or any other methods, including use of automated systems, will void that Entrant's entries and that Entrant may be disqualified.

HOW THE WINNER IS SELECTED AND NOTIFIED:

1. A maximum of four (4) contest winners will be selected from all entrants (each a “Winner” and collectively the “Winners”).
2. Winners will be selected from all entries by a jury composed of representatives of TuneCore (the “Jury”).
3. The Jury decision will be based on its assessments of entries including but not limited to Entrant’s creativity, engagement and presentation.
4. The decision of the Jury will be made in its sole discretion and will be final.
5. The Winners may be required to show proof of being authorized TuneCore account holders. TuneCore shall have the right to determine the identity of each Winner in its sole discretion.
6. The Winners will be notified via email following the conclusion of the Entry Period, but no later than March 23rd 2026. TuneCore shall not be responsible for a Winner’s delay in or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or a Winner’s failure to adequately monitor the email account. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable or any other non-response within seven (7) days of notice will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate potential winner from remaining entries.

THE PRIZES:

1. Unless otherwise determined by TuneCore in its sole discretion, each Winner will receive four (4) sessions of music industry mentorship to be conducted by music industry professionals selected by TuneCore and TAY (each such person a “Mentor”), The sessions will be conducted via video conference, with each session to be approximately one (1) hour in duration, and held at times to be determined by TuneCore (the “Sessions”). The Sessions will be conducted 1:1 between each Winner and a Mentor and will occur every two (2) weeks over a period of eight (8) weeks. Any missed sessions will be rescheduled subject to the Mentor’s schedule. The Sessions have a total cash value of Eight Hundred Pounds (£800.00) (the “Prize”).
2. Limit one (1) Prize per Entrant.

DISCLAIMER AND RELEASE

1. TuneCore will not be responsible for any costs to a Winner involved or implicated in that Winner’s entry into the Contest or that Winner’s claiming of a Prize (including but not limited to travel, accommodations, food, equipment, internet access, etc.).
2. Each Winner agrees to TuneCore’s and TAY’s use of their name or aliases, biographical information and photograph/likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised (including and without limitation, social media) without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Upon request by TuneCore, Winner will consent to such uses in writing and may be asked to sign a release form to take possession of the Prize.

ADDITIONAL CONTEST TERMS:

1. All decisions of TuneCore are final on all matters relating to this Contest.
2. All information collected from an Entrant will be used to enter the Entrant into the Contest and may be used in any other manner as may be set forth in these Rules or in the TuneCore terms and conditions and privacy policy.
3. No transfers of, or substitutions for the Prize will be allowed except by TuneCore’s express written agreement. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Winners may only utilize the Prize while Winners remain active TuneCore account holders. In the event that a Winner cancels or fails to renew the Winner’s TuneCore account prior to Winner’s utilization of the Prize, TuneCore shall irrevocably revoke the award of the Prize.
4. The prize is awarded by TuneCore “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).
5. By entering and/or by accepting the Prize, each Entrant or Winner agrees to be bound by these Rules and to release and hold harmless TuneCore, TAY, each of its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies, and each of its respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, employees and assigns from any and all liability arising out of their participation in this Contest including, without limitation, with respect to the awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of the Prizes or cancellation of the Contest.
6. TuneCore reserves the right to disqualify and prosecute to the fullest extent permitted by law any Entrant who, in TuneCore’s reasonable suspicion, tampers with TuneCore site, the entry process, violates these Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
7. Liability for any applicable taxes and any other expenses not specifically provided for by TuneCore in these Rules are the sole responsibility of each Winner.
8. Entries that are lost, late, illegible, or incomplete for any reason will not be eligible.
9. TuneCore reserves the right to modify or terminate this Contest or disqualify any entry for any reason. In the event of early termination of the Contest, TuneCore will select the Winners from all eligible entries received at time of termination. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of an Entrant, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the Entrant in whose name the email account is registered, or the authorized account holder associated with the email account.
10. This Contest is subject to federal, state and local laws with venue in New York County in the State of New York, United States of America and except where prohibited, Entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court in the State of New York. The remedy for any claim will be limited to actual damages, and in no event will any party be entitled to recover punitive, exemplary, consequential, or incidental damages, including attorney’s fees or other such related costs of bringing a claim, or to rescind this agreement or seek injunctive or any other equitable relief.
11. By entering the Contest, Entrant agrees to be bound by the TuneCore terms of use and privacy policy and gives their express permission to be contacted by TuneCore by e-mail in the future. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any other entity other than TuneCore and TAY. By entering, Entrant acknowledges and warrants that they understand that they are providing their information to TuneCore.
12. For the name of the Contest Winners, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope after the Entry Period to TuneCore at the address below.
13. The Contest is sponsored and administered by TuneCore Inc., located at 63 Pearl Street, P.O. Box #256, Brooklyn, NY 11201, USA.
