Bruno Duque

As TuneCore’s Head of LATAM and Brazil, Bruno brings not only a wealth of experience to the role, but also a love of music. Despite starting off as a law student, Bruno changed his studies to music production and since then, hasn’t lost his appreciation for artistry. He has become an advocate for independent artists in Latin America and Brazil and continues to work closely with artists while forging new relationships with key partners and growing brand awareness for TuneCore LATAM and Brazil.

He began his career at Sony Music in Los Angeles in the Latin Music Division, and then segued into other areas of the industry and became a member of the Latin Recording Academy. Most recently, Bruno was Marketing Manager at iMusica, the leading digital content distributor in Latin America. There, he focused on licensing and label relations.

TuneCore LATAM and Brazil benefit greatly from Bruno’s deep industry ties and his drive to create opportunities for local artists. His holistic approach is a welcome bridge between independent music and the entertainment industry in Latin America.

James Atto

As TuneCore’s Director, Artist Support, James Atto leads all strategic and operational processes for the global Artist Support channel and is responsible for the development and maintenance of effective training & onboarding programs for Artist Support specialists. Atto also works closely alongside TuneCore’s VP, Artist Support & Operations, to effectively guide personnel and forecast future needs on behalf of the Artist Support team. 

Atto joined TuneCore in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of Customer Support experience from his roles at multiple tech startups including CrowdRise, Savi, and more. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Western Michigan University, with a concentration in Radio/Music/Film/TV production and a minor in Creative Writing. With over a decade of experience as a touring independent musician, Atto’s artist-focused perspective makes him uniquely qualified to ensure that TuneCore artists’ support needs are addressed effectively.

Atto is an avid guitar player & songwriter, and is a fan of ‘90s alt-rock acts including Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam, as well as indie-rock & folk acts like Elliott Smith, Monsters of Folk, Citizen Cope, My Morning Jacket, and more.

Jose Tamayo

Jose Tamayo serves as Director of Quality Assurance for TuneCore where he oversees the product development process, ensuring that all technological products are delivered on-time, on-budget, and up to the high quality standards set by the company. He is also responsible for managing TuneCore’s test team, supervising the testing process and ensuring top quality of all deliverables from the technology group. 

Since joining TuneCore in 2020, Jose has been instrumental in doubling the size of the Quality Assurance team and providing guidance and mentorship to team members, allowing for increased testing, greater automation, and a reduction in the time it takes to implement new technological innovations.

Jose earned degrees in both Business Management and Psychology from Hofstra University and has experience with every step of the Quality Assurance process. In the past, he has held key leadership roles at multiple renowned organizations including serving as QA Director at Globus Medical, Vice President, Senior Group Manager, QA & Test at BNY Mellon, and Director of Quality Assurance at PASSLOGIX INC, where he released a suite of 5 award-winning enterprise products, accelerating revenue and establishing the company as an industry leader before it was acquired by Oracle in 2010.

Musically, Jose is a fan of ‘80s New Wave, has seen The Police, The Talking Heads, and Prince live numerous times, and is learning to play the piano.

Sean Daley

After receiving his BA in Rhetoric & Popular Music from SUNY Binghamton, Sean joined the TuneCore team in 2010 as an Artist Support Specialist. Sean rose through the ranks of the Operations team, moving up to the Manager of Customer Care, then Manager of Operations, Director of Content & Rights Operations and now Director of DSP Operations.

As Director of DSP Operations, Sean is responsible for ensuring the health of TuneCore’s distribution pipelines through close partnerships with our strategic store/distribution partners. He works alongside internal stakeholders to drive projects that allow TuneCore to maintain its preferred partner status, while also making our artist’s experience using the platform effortless. Sean is the first point of contact for DSP partners to triage requests, improvements, and manage projects.  He primarily collaborates internally with TuneCore’s Support Operations, Product, and Tech teams, but his contributions touch all departments across the organization.

Sean performed in Punk and Hardcore bands throughout high school and college.

Wenson Tsai

Wenson Tsai serves as TuneCore’s Director, Engineering, where he is responsible for the ideation, development, and implementation of new technologies that keep TuneCore on the cutting edge of innovation in the music industry. Tsai supervises TuneCore’s team of engineers and works alongside external partners to build and improve technology solutions addressing the needs of independent artists around the world, while simultaneously growing TuneCore’s internal engineering team.

Tsai joined TuneCore in 2021 as Engineering Manager, Music Asset Distribution where he was instrumental to the launch of multiple features helping self-releasing artists earn money from their music and grow their audiences, while also improving the engineering framework enabling TuneCore’s distribution service to power releases on Spotify, Apple, ByteDance (TikTok), and more.

Throughout his career, Tsai has amassed a wide range of engineering and management experience. From the development of royalty payment systems for mechanical licensing organization The Harry Fox Agency, the creation of model-processing algorithms for 3D-printing robotics at MakerBot, and the implementation of AI-powered search and recommendation products at AlphaSense Inc., Tsai has operated as a high-level engineer across the music and tech industries, before joining TuneCore to innovate at the nexus of both music and technology.

Tsai is also a drummer and songwriter whose inspiration is not bound by genre lines, drawing from artists like Teresa Teng, Little Dragon, Alvvays, Khruangbin, Thundercat, and Hiatus Kaiyote, as well as 1980s Japanese City Pop, and obscure disco records.

Paul Zachopoulos

Paul has earned a BS from Bowling Green State University and an MS from Cleveland State University, both in Accounting. He also holds a New York State CPA license. Before joining TuneCore, he was the Director of Client Services at NJD Solutions and has previously led various finance teams in the advertising/public relations industry.

His work with TuneCore is comprised of many different facets that involve all of our departments. Compiling, and clearly articulating, information from the high volume of transactions that TuneCore receives every day is only the beginning of his responsibilities. He does everything from overseeing the Finance team’s day-to-day, to handling all technical accounting issues, to finding ways to make the department, and TuneCore, function more efficiently.

Paul also brings personal music experience to TuneCore. He pursued a career in the industry out of college and is thrilled to come full circle and be on the other side of the business spectrum.

Charley Karpiuk

Charley Karpiuk serves as Director, Growth Marketing for TuneCore where he oversees client acquisition, engagement, and retention while simultaneously developing the marketing department’s strategic vision and roadmap to accelerate revenue growth on behalf of the company.

Karpiuk joined TuneCore in 2023 after multiple years as Growth Marketing Lead at communication technology company Airtame where he played a pivotal role in transitioning the company towards product-led strategies. Prior to Airtame, Charley was the Director of Growth at Arbor Botanicals, skillfully steering the company through a pandemic and achieving consistent quarterly revenue in a challenging market. Karpiuk’s extensive and varied background also includes teaching English as a second language in Japan and starting an education technology company in the US, Japan, and Philippines.

Karpiuk has been a DJ since 2005 with his expertise and interests spanning the breadth of electronic music. These days, he can be found DJing on his Twitch channel (twitch.tv/scamcircuit) focusing mostly on Drum and Bass (liquid and deep/minimal), and running his own independent record label, Justifyed Media.

Basile Beaugendre

As Head of TuneCore, France, Basile Beaugendre works closely with local artists and the independent music community to support and grow TuneCore’s brand awareness throughout the country.

Beaugendre received his Master’s degree in Business with a major in Media & Communication from The Catholic University of Lille. Prior to joining TuneCore, he had a successful career as a Talent Manager at the artist agency Unity Group, and as a partner at Unity Publishing. He has worked closely with European acts such as Lost Frequencies, Klingande, and Broken Back.

Beaugendre possesses a deep understanding of artists’ needs and has extensive 360-degree experience collaborating with international DJs, producers and live acts at every step of an artist’s career. In this capacity he’s been involved with everything from worldwide touring, management, distribution, publishing, social media, and branding.

Cyrus Chen

As Head of TuneCore, Southeast Asia, Cyrus Chen is responsible for leading TuneCore’s operations in the region including the supervision of all local artist service initiatives and the implementation of innovative new marketing strategies to drive growth and increase brand awareness throughout all of Southeast Asia. He also serves as the local brand liaison for all music industry events in the region and coordinates with the TuneCore central marketing team in pursuit of new brand partnerships and local artist education programs.

Chen joined TuneCore in 2020, tripling the regions consumer base in just three years while simultaneously developing programs and securing partnerships that support local artists in their musical careers, including TuneCore’s launch of localized payment options throughout Southeast Asia, a partnership with the Philippines’ Mint College, and the development of TuneCore’s first INDIEAF event in Indonesia.

Throughout his 13+ years operating at the nexus of Marketing and Technology, Chen has been based in numerous Southeast Asian countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, and is proficient in three languages: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing and Media from Murdoch University.

Chen’s musical taste is similarly diverse, with his interests ranging from ballads to bossanova to modern Pop and Electronic Dance Music.

Nikolaas De Belie

Since 2021, Nikolaas De Belie has led Believe & TuneCore’s operations in Benelux.

Nikolaas brings with him over 17 years of international music industry experience, having begun his career at the Belgian Entertainment Association, a local IFPI affiliate, overseeing marketing and communications as well as anti-piracy efforts. He then led strategic marketing at Sony Music Belgium for 5 years, and 7 years ago transitioned to running his own boutique music management company, ABSNDR, building bespoke strategies for emerging and established artists.

Nikolaas received a Master’s degree in Applied Economic Sciences from the University of Antwerp. His life and career so far, has always been built around music in general and helping artists to connect with bigger audiences and opportunities.

Erica Quinn

Erica Quinn serves as Senior Director, Product Innovation & UX at TuneCore, where she manages the company’s New Ventures, User Experience, and User Research teams, and oversees User Experience across all customer-facing products and features on behalf of the company. She is a key member of the senior leadership team responsible for securing the strategic external partnerships and developing the innovative products that have made TuneCore an industry leader.

In her previous role as Senior Director, Client Marketing for TuneCore, Quinn was in charge of all inbound marketing efforts as well as integrating marketing support and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive 360 marketing campaigns. She also led the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns with the goal of delivering a cohesive marketing message and customer experience.

In her marketing role, Quinn was the driving force behind numerous successful initiatives including leading the marketing team to overhaul the design and messaging of customer emails and educational content, as well as conceptualizing and launching TuneCore Certified.

Erica received her Bachelor’s in Music Business and Masters in Digital Marketing at Full Sail University. She has been recognized for her years of experience and efforts within the marketing field through several Cynopsis nominations for digital video content, including Best Viral Video and Best Stand-Alone Short for her work at Music Choice.

Colin Eger

During his studies in Bonn (Musicology, English Studies & North-American Studies), Colin worked as a freelance radio journalist and was part of the music editorial team at 1LIVE in Cologne, where he reviewed albums, interviewed artists, and produced editorial features.

After Colin had earned a Master of Science from Boston-based Northeastern University in “Music Industry Leadership,” he was hired as Manager Streaming at Warner Music Group Germany where he worked for three years. In the Digital Sales department, Colin was responsible for platforms such as Deezer, YouTube, Tidal, Soundcloud, Napster, Google Play and Qobuz.

Since 2019 Colin has served as Head of TuneCore, Germany. Based in Berlin, Colin is responsible for brand building, business development, and artist & industry relations for TuneCore in the German-speaking markets.

Ivan Ivanov

As Head of TuneCore, CIS, Eastern Europe, and Turkey, Ivan leads the development and execution of the company’s strategic initiatives to support and empower independent music creators in the region, while simultaneously developing marketing campaigns and securing partnerships to raise brand awareness for TuneCore’s music distribution platform and suite of artist services.

Ivan joined TuneCore in 2020, bringing with him a wealth of business development, strategic marketing, and brand partnership experience. Prior to joining the company, Ivan served as the Head of Business Development at Yoola, a global YouTube multi-channel network with over 1.5 billion subscribers and over 10 billion monthly views, where he worked closely with creators to help maximize their revenue streams. As a business development and marketing professional, Ivan has also helped multiple key media companies build their presence in the CIS region.

Ivan is passionate about music and its potential to inspire, connect, and transform people and cultures. He is driven by TuneCore’s mission to provide an open-platform, accessible technology solution for music creators to widely distribute and earn money from their music. A music lover and occasional musician himself, Ivan once performed on the main stage of a YMCA Youth Festival in front of an audience of 3000, playing the balalaika, a traditional Russian string instrument.

Akhila Shankar

Akhila Shankar serves as Head of TuneCore, South Asia where she is responsible for growing and managing the company’s artist roster in the region and providing support through localization efforts, partnership opportunities, and the development of innovative marketing campaigns on behalf of TuneCore and its artists.

Previously, Shankar served as Director, International at leading subscription podcasting and audio company Luminary, where she led the company’s expansion and subscription growth in international markets, increasing Luminary’s native footprint from 11 to 60 global markets. 

Prior to her time at Luminary, Shankar spent 7+ years at India’s leading audio streaming service JioSaavn, serving as the company’s Director, Brand, Communications, and Marketing, where she secured 100+ strategic marketing partnerships across multiple languages and genres, and led the team that propelled the brand’s astronomical growth between 2014 and 2021, including through the JioMusic and Saavn merger. She also co-hosts The Indian Music Charts Podcast, India’s #1 music commentary podcast on Apple.

Musically, Shankar’s go-to genres are hip-hop and electronic music, and she is a huge fan of live music. Some of her favorite artists include DIVINE, Helena Hauff, Ben Böhmer, though she grew up listening to metal with Slayer and Lamb of God always remaining in constant rotation.

Fabrizio Tudisco

As Head of TuneCore, Italy, Fabrizio Tudisco leads all of TuneCore’s operations in the region. 

Fabrizio brings to TuneCore a fresh vision of the music industry, informed by his years of experience in hip-hop and EDM gained while working at Virgo Music Mgmt. In his time at Virgo, Fabrizio operated in Sales (as a Booking Agent, representing internationally recognized artists) and directly alongside artists as a Road Manager. His experience in the music industry from both behind a desk and on the road has given Fabrizio an invaluable understanding of the artistic, industrial and operational dynamics of the music industry. 

In 2017, Fabrizio’s desire for independence inspired him to create his own management company and record label, Supernova, before joining TuneCore in 2019 to lead operations in Italy.

Chioma Winifred Onuchukwu

As Head of TuneCore, West & East Africa, Chioma Winifred Onuchukwu is responsible for identifying and securing local marketing partnerships to amplify the company’s presence in the region and provide promotional opportunities on behalf of local TuneCore artists, as well as representing TuneCore at local industry events and conferences, and creating strategic, localized growth plans for the company.

Since joining TuneCore in 2020, Onuchukwu has led numerous brand awareness and development campaigns including the launch of localized TuneCore Africa social media channels, the development of a local radio program—Major Stage—on Urban96 FM showcasing over forty TuneCore artists and their new music in Nigeria, the orchestration of a music workshop in partnership with Telem Uncommon Sounds in Sierra Leone to engage with and educate over 50 artists & managers in 2022, and many more.

Onuchukwu joined TuneCore with more than a decade of marketing and business development experience, beginning her career in the Banking, Telecommunications & Tech industries before joining the music industry in 2016 as a Marketing & Promotions Manager at Mcomm Solutions & Services before taking on a Marketing role at uduX Music, where she was an integral part in the successful launch of uduX music streaming app in Nigeria. She currently sits on the board of Women in Music, Nigeria, as the chapter’s Co-Chair.

Chioma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Imo State University, Nigeria and an MBA in General Management from the University of Hull, United Kingdom. A music lover and songwriter herself, Chioma enjoys Afrobeats, Pop, R&B, and Jazz, and some of her current favorite artists are Asake, Fireboy DML, and Sinach.

Andile Mbete

Andile Mbete serves as Head of TuneCore, Southern Africa. Based in Johannesburg, Mbete focuses on managing and building the company’s artist roster in the region and supporting local artists through partnership opportunities and marketing initiatives.

Prior to joining TuneCore in 2022, Mbete worked as International Label Manager for Sony Music’s Columbia and Epic Records, where he managed a team responsible for the ideation and implementation of marketing and content strategies for both local and international artists. In addition to his music industry experience, Mbete brings a wealth of brand marketing and consumer research knowledge from his roles as Digital Brand Manager at South African retailer Markham, and Content Director at creative advertising agency Black River FC.

Sarah Wilson

As Head of TuneCore, UK/IE/AU/NZ, Sarah Wilson is responsible for managing and building the company’s artist roster in her regions and supporting local artists through partnership opportunities and marketing initiatives.

Sarah’s experience lies solidly within the music industry, having worked at Universal Music UK as Vice President, International Marketing, and at The Orchard in Artist Services. She spent 13 years at Beggars Group, rising through the ranks within the international department, beginning as Sales and Promo Manager, and ascending to Director of International. She has worked with Beggars Group’s most celebrated artists including Adele, Radiohead, The National, MIA, and Bon Iver, and across labels like XL, 4ad, Rough Trade, Matador, and Young Turks.

Iichiro Noda

Iichiro Noda is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TuneCore Japan, a joint venture with TuneCore established in 2012. As CEO of TuneCore Japan, Noda is responsible for overseeing all TuneCore operations in the region, driving growth and innovation on behalf of self-releasing artists throughout Japan, securing external partnerships to support and expand TuneCore Japan’s goals, and more.

Under Noda’s leadership, TuneCore Japan has solidified its reputation as the premier independent digital distribution platform in the country and has established itself as one of the largest music distributors in Japan overall. Recently, TuneCore Japan has upgraded its local offering to include Splits and music video distribution, and in 2022 introduced Publishing Administration as an additional service for self-releasing Japanese artists.

Prior to founding TuneCore Japan, Noda created Wano Co.,Ltd., an online service suite supporting creators through content distribution and more.

Noda is based in Tokyo, Japan.

​Brian Miller

As Chief Revenue Officer, Brian Miller is responsible for defining and leading revenue growth strategies on behalf of TuneCore, securing high-level strategic partnerships to bolster the company’s market presence, and developing innovative tactics for expanding and retaining TuneCore’s talented roster of self-releasing artists. He also oversees TuneCore’s Marketing, International, Publishing Administration, and Artist & Partner Relations teams, acting as a visionary leader to drive the growth strategy of each department and cultivate a creative & inspiring culture across teams. 

For more than 15 years, Miller has been instrumental in the growth of multiple companies, launching new revenue opportunities and helping them grow into successful, sustainable businesses. Miller brings a wealth of experience to TuneCore, having most recently served as Chief Growth Officer at Angi, where he led multiple teams across accounts, business development, digital marketing, strategy, operations and partner success, grew the company’s P&L by helping to develop and launch strategic partnerships, new business lines and expand its footprint internationally.

His first CD purchases were Run DMC’s Raising Hell and the Beastie Boys’ Licensed to Ill.  While he listens to all genres of music at home, one thing he can’t do is sing aloud—his daughter banned him for life after an off-key rendition of “Happy Birthday” when she was little.

Maria Ho-Burge

Maria Ho-Burge is Vice President, Global Head of Communications, TuneCore, where she leads the company’s communications efforts, handling all aspects of global external and internal communications, as well as industry relations, and working closely with the international Heads of TuneCore to ensure quality and consistency throughout the organization. 

Since joining TuneCore in 2020, Ho-Burge has worked to shape and elevate TuneCore’s corporate brand identity as an industry leader by securing strategic media placements, partnerships and speaking engagements on behalf of the TuneCore executive leadership team, and has supported cross-team collaboration and coordinated communications between TuneCore and its parent company, Believe. In 2021, in tandem with TuneCore CEO Andreea Gleeson, Ho-Burge also helped launch the annual BE THE CHANGE: Gender Equality in the Music Industry study (now in its 4th year), which seeks to raise awareness of gender-based inequities that exist in the music industry and provide actionable insights into how to combat them.

Before joining TuneCore, Ho-Burge spent 11 years as SVP, Global Corporate Communications for Universal Music Group. She also previously led corporate communications at Jive Records and Zomba just before the company’s acquisition by BMG, when its roster included Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys and N*SYNC among many others. 

Amy Lombardi

Amy Lombardi serves as TuneCore’s Head of Artist & Partner Relations where she is responsible for the ideation and implementation of new, scalable artist development programs to help support self-releasing artists, the supervision of the entire Artist & Partner Relations team, and the acquisition of promotional opportunities with stores and streaming platforms on behalf of rising TuneCore artists.

Since joining the company in 2015 as Entertainment Relations Manager in Austin, TX, Lombardi has held multiple positions within the company with responsibilities including securing playlisting and promotional opportunities with DSPs, producing expert advice sessions to guide artist development, curating artists for TuneCore’s brand marketing initiatives, and more.

Prior to joining TuneCore, Lombardi garnered major label experience at A&M Records and Warner Bros. Records, working with R.E.M., Red Hot Chili Peppers, Van Halen and more. From there, Lombardi’s talents carried her to Nasty Little Man PR, where she served as a publicist for Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Neko Case, LTJ Bukem, and Beastie Boys, among others.

Additionally, Lombardi founded the boutique PR firm Call Girl PR, in Chicago where she created and executed breakout PR campaigns for The New Pornographers, Alejandro Escovedo and more, and Beekeeper Corp., where she managed the careers of three-time GRAMMY-nominee Neko Case, singer/songwriter Cass McCombs, and vocalist Kelly Hogan.

Ben Oastler

Ben Oastler serves as Director, Data Analytics & Insights at TuneCore where he is responsible for leading the company’s Data Analytics and Data Engineering teams, building and cultivating effective and balanced self-service analytics, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data results. He also analyzes large data sets, distilling them into insightful recommendations supporting high-level business decisions, strategy execution, and more on behalf of the company.

Oastler joined TuneCore in 2023 after a 3+ year stint as a Data Warehouse Manager at EdTech startup Newsela. Prior to that, he garnered more than 12 years of experience in healthcare data analytics across the top hospitals in Australia before moving to the US in 2018 and establishing operations for US based Business Intelligence consultancy, BizData. 

An avid musician, Oastler has been playing guitar for 30 years, studying Contemporary Music (Guitar Major) at Southern Cross University and playing semi-professionally in Australia as a music teacher, session guitarist, and centerpiece of multiple bands. His main loves are jazz, blues, soul, and R&B, but recently has been rekindling his teenage love of grunge and thrash metal.

Chris Dampier

Chris Dampier is TuneCore’s Vice President of Publishing and Sync. 

In his role at TuneCore, Chris oversees the Publishing Administration and Sync teams, ensuring that we provide the most efficient and accurate administration of our clients’ songs. Chris and his team also work with Music Supervisors from around the world to actively pitch TuneCore artists for placements in the film, TV, video games and ads. Chris proudly serves on the Independent Publisher Advisory Council for the National Music Publishers Association, is a member of the Association of Independent Music Publishers, and a voting member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Chris is a graduate of London College of Music and University of Westminster. Prior to joining TuneCore, Chris was the Creative Director of Film, TV and Visual Media at Broadcast Music, Inc.

Dipanjan Kolay

Dipanjan Kolay serves as Vice President, Product at TuneCore where he drives the strategy and advancement of all products on behalf of the company, overseeing the entire product management team and working alongside the engineering team to conceive and deliver features supporting the needs of TuneCore artists. Previously, Dipanjan served as Senior Director, Product where he led the team for Customer Finance and E-Commerce, managing projects within the company’s revenue management umbrella, including areas like compliance, global taxation and revenue accounting.

Dipanjan earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology, India, where he was also class valedictorian and editor-in-chief of the University Editorial Board. Before joining TuneCore in 2020, he worked at Oracle for more than 11 years, holding various positions such as Engagement Lead, Consulting Architect and Product Owner. Prior to that, he worked at Convergys (now Netcracker) as a Billing Architect for 4 years.

Though his musical tastes lean towards jazz, Dipanjan appreciates all kinds of music, especially when seemingly unrelated genres come together to create a new sound.

Erica Clayton

Erica Clayton serves as TuneCore’s Vice President, Artist Support and Operations, based in Brooklyn. Clayton oversees all of TuneCore’s Artist Support teams, with offices spread across New York, Nashville, Paris, Mexico City and Mumbai, as well as TuneCore’s Operations teams encompassing Content Review, Fraud Prevention, Copyright Administration, and Video Rights, to provide a seamless, high-quality customer experience. Clayton also works closely with TuneCore’s Product team to execute strategies that support the company’s goals of operational excellence.

Since joining TuneCore in 2019 as Director, Artist Support, Clayton has transformed the company’s Artist Support department into an industry leader by identifying processes and operational efficiency opportunities to improve the customer experience and increase customer satisfaction. 

Clayton received her Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts Management at the University of Hartford. Prior to joining TuneCore, Clayton held multiple support management positions including User Support Manager at Paperless Post and a Customer Service and Quality Manager at Shapeways. Clayton is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt, which was awarded to her by the American Society for Quality in “Excellence in Process Improvement/Management”.

Outside of her professional customer support experience, Clayton has been a longtime participant and organizer within her local music scenes. She has years of experience playing in several bands, organizing and promoting regional shows, managing tours, running live sound, and stage managing. Her latest EP, Don’t @ Me, was released in 2022.

Holly Schomann

Holly Schomann serves as TuneCore’s Senior Director of Program and Project Management, overseeing a team of project managers to ensure consistent and efficient execution of software development processes and internal reporting throughout the organization. Her team is responsible for creating and maintaining timelines for TuneCore’s ongoing technological innovations and product launches, as well as managing the day-to-day coding updates including bug fixes, new features, and website improvements.

Since joining TuneCore in 2021, Schomann has improved communication across projects and teams to allow for greater transparency and clearer development of timelines and execution of objectives. To TuneCore, Schomann brings a wealth of music industry experience, having served as Senior Director, Music and Talent Relations at MTV and Vice President of Programming and Label Relations at VEVO where she was responsible for the creation of music-based content, in addition to her 8 plus years of experience in the tech industry with CitiGroup, MSG Ventures, and Moody’s Ventures.

Musically, Holly is a passionate indie rock fan and has seen Radiohead more times than she can count.


Jason Allen

As Senior Director of Infrastructure Operations, Jason manages the DevOps, Database, and Internal IT Teams. He leads them in the strategy, planning, and implementation and delivery of cutting-edge cloud-based infrastructure, security, and development processes behind TuneCore’s product, as well as supporting our internal staff members’ needs. In his role, he is proud of modernizing TuneCore’s cloud infrastructure, implementing new security frameworks and site reliability practices, and building out new observability solutions to measure, monitor, and keep TuneCore staff aware of our platform’s performance.

He studied Computer Information Science at Niagara University. Before joining the team at TuneCore, he was the Technical Operations and Platform Manager at PBS.

Jason grew up singing in choir and chorus, and has been an active DJ in the Washington, D.C. music scene for the past 10 years. He spins all genres, but mainly House, Drum & Bass, Trap & Bass Music, Hip-Hop, and R&B.

Kevin Bodenheimer

Kevin Bodenheimer serves as Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs at TuneCore where he oversees and manages the company’s legal team and all legal functions to maintain compliance and ensure that TuneCore artists’ rights are protected.

Bodenheimer joined TuneCore in 2020 as Senior Attorney before being named VP, Business and Legal Affairs in early 2022. Bodenheimer’s music industry and legal experience is vast, having served on legal teams at numerous record labels, music technology companies, and entertainment law firms including Razor & Tie, Matador Records, Bandsintown, Serling Rooks Hunter McKoy Worob & Averill LLP, and Boyarski Fritz, LLP. He holds a BA in Music from Fairfield University and a JD from Fordham University School of Law.

Kevin Granger

Kevin Granger joined TuneCore as Vice President, Finance in December 2022, following a four year stint as Global Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at native advertising company Outbrain, where he was instrumental to the company’s successful IPO in 2021. As TuneCore’s VP, Finance, Granger is responsible for managing the Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis teams and overseeing all financial affairs on behalf of the company.

Granger received his BS Business Administration and Economics with a concentration in Finance from SUNY Oswego, and in addition to his work at Outbrain, has worked for major media companies including Viacom where he held multiple executive level financial roles over a nearly twelve year tenure with the company.

Musically, Granger has eclectic tastes not bound by genre-lines, but tends to mostly listen to alternative & rock.

Ace Burgess

Ace Burgess serves as VP, Engineering and Quality Assurance where he oversees the team of software engineers that build and test TuneCore’s user-facing digital products, interface, and backend technologies that power the distribution, publishing, and finance operations on behalf of TuneCore artists. Ace also plays a heavy role in ideation, focusing on creating new innovative technology solutions aimed at bridging the unmet and evolving needs of today’s DIY artists.

Burgess’ team played an integral role in the implementation of TuneCore’s UNLIMITED pricing structure as well as numerous backend innovations that have helped make TuneCore’s technological platform more artist-friendly.

Before joining TuneCore in 2019, Burgess served as the Associate Director of Application Development Programs at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. In 2017, he founded the Brooklyn-based independent record label, Interline Records and served as president for two years. Since 2009, Ace has worked as a live sound engineer at music festivals around the country, a studio engineer and independent musician, and—as a member of the American Association of Independent Music—he is an accomplished songwriter, having written multiple songs for other artists as well as having produced a handful of studio albums.

Matt Barrington

As Chief Financial & Strategy Officer, Matt oversees TuneCore’s Finance, Data, Technology, Product, Operations and Legal Departments. Having joined the company in 2010, over the course of Barrington’s decade-long leadership, TuneCore has become recognized as the most trusted, consistent and transparent place for independent artists to earn money from their music.

Before joining TuneCore, Matt was the Financial Systems Manager for TBWA (an Omnicom company) where he developed and implemented the strategic plan for TBWA’s North America Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation. Prior to that, he held a similar position with Agency.com, at the time a leader in interactive marketing. Matt has also held various key finance and finance system roles at leading insurance services company Marsh McLennan. He graduated from Pace University with a double MBA in Financial Management and Information Systems and from Adelphi University with a BS in Business Communications and Management.

As for what Matt listens to? He takes his music as seriously as he takes his work. While he cites rock as his favorite genre, it’s not unusual to hear everything from Motown to Bowie to Avenged Sevenfold blasting from his office.

Melanie Seddon

Melanie Seddon serves as Vice President, Global Marketing for TuneCore, where she oversees every aspect of the company’s growth marketing, brand marketing, and brand partnership efforts around the world. Seddon also acts as an advisor on all marketing initiatives secured by the international Heads of TuneCore in their local markets while simultaneously leading TuneCore’s central marketing team in the US.

Seddon joined TuneCore in 2020 as Director of Influencer Marketing before quickly shifting her focus to Brand Marketing and building out her team to include social media and event marketing. In 2023, she took over the full scope of TuneCore’s marketing efforts as VP, Global Marketing.

In her time with the company, Seddon has developed numerous successful marketing activations, including TuneCore’s Independent AF marketing campaign, which introduced new artist-first brand messaging and creative energy through merchandise, billboards, and social media initiatives. She also led the global marketing team to conceive and implement successful in-person activations with AfroFuture, spearheaded the launch of TuneCore’s successful Splits campaign, and has overhauled the look and feel of TuneCore’s website and digital assets by leveraging the independent spirit of its artists and labels to create a brand new look for the company.

Seddon holds a B.S. from the University of Rhode Island. To TuneCore, she brings more than a decade of experience in eCommerce retail marketing as Vice President of Brand Marketing at Occasion Brands (overseeing PromGirl.com, KleinfeldBridalParty.com and SimplyDresses.com). Her transition from eCommerce to music was a natural one, as Melanie has always had a deep love of hip-hop. Her first CDs ever purchased were Jay-Z Vol. 2, Hard Knock Life and “Money, Power, Respect,” by The Lox.

Mia Sapienza

Mia Sapienza serves as VP, Human Resources for TuneCore and Believe Americas where she leads all HR functions in the region including talent acquisition, day-to-day employee relations, performance management, engagement, learning & development,  compensation & benefits, office & culture, and more. Sapienza works with teams in the US, Canada, and LATAM, across four unique businesses: TuneCore, Believe, Nuclear Blast America, and Sentric US.

Since joining TuneCore in 2020, Sapienza has been instrumental in enhancing employee experience and has helped curate a culture of ongoing improvement and open dialogue between senior leadership and the rest of the organization. Through these efforts, Sapienza has played a key role in shaping the company culture which helped TuneCore land on Crain’s Best Places to Work in New York list in both 2022 and 2023.

Prior to joining TuneCore, Sapienza served as Director, People Operations at Mosaic and Director of Talent & HR at event marketing SaaS platform Splash. Her experience in HR and Recruitment throughout the New York City area and the United States as a whole has made her indispensable as the leader of TuneCore’s HR team.

Musically, Sapienza appreciates artists from most genres, times and places. Her notable favorites include The Killers, Brandi Carlile, and Guster.

Tash Shah

Tash Shah serves as VP, International, at TuneCore where she drives the company’s international growth by accelerating expansion into new global markets and managing the successful execution of localized business strategies. She also oversees a world-class team of international Heads of TuneCore across 17 countries and 3 major regions, while developing innovative programs to benefit TuneCore’s growing roster of international artists and labels.

Shah joined TuneCore in 2023 after more than a decade at Spotify where she served as the company’s first Head of Marketing in the UK, delivering some of their earliest in-house Artist Marketing campaigns and implementing major partnerships with the BBC, Nike, Vodafone and more. Along with launching Spotify’s highly successful Student Premium program in the UK, she was also responsible for the global expansion of the Student Premium subscription tier – extending its footprint from 3 to 36 markets.

Kristen London

Kristen London serves as Chief of Staff at TuneCore, working as a member of the company’s executive team to drive strategic priorities and oversee cross-functional initiatives. London came to TuneCore in 2023, and made her mark leading a high-profile partnership with CreateSafe and Grimes to distribute AI-generated content, as well as the launch of Music Fights Fraud, the first global, industry-wide alliance dedicated to eradicating streaming fraud.

Before joining TuneCore, London spent three years in M&A investment banking, where she served as a strategic advisor to high-growth companies across the media and music landscape. As a Senior Associate at LionTree, she helped lead a number of major transactions, including 300 Entertainment’s sale to Warner Music Group and The Athletic’s sale to The New York Times. London received her MBA from Columbia Business School in 2019 and her B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University in 2014.

She takes full advantage of the New York live-music scene and attends, on average, 2-3 shows per week. While she primarily gravitates to all forms of dance music from House to Techno, she also loves Jazz and Bluegrass.

Andreea Gleeson

Andreea Gleeson is TuneCore’s Chief Executive Officer. She joined the company in 2015, as a member of the senior leadership team and has made significant contributions to the growth of TuneCore, first as Chief Marketing Officer and most recently as Chief Revenue Officer. Under her guidance, TuneCore has established itself as one of the most dynamic and innovative companies in the independent music space, bringing great product and technology together with branding and marketing to create a Best-In-Class service for independent artists, both for today and tomorrow.

Andreea has led the launch of leading-edge product and technology solutions, inventive marketing campaigns, aggressive international expansion, groundbreaking artist education, Best-in-Class artist support, as well as forged new store and streaming partnerships while achieving premier status and gaining access to exclusive innovative beta tests with current stores. Recently, she spearheaded the introduction of a new pricing plan, UNLIMITED, which allows artists at any stage of their career to distribute music, unimpeded by traditional industry barriers. She also led TuneCore’s introduction of Splits, allowing artists to split their royalty payments from their streaming & download revenue between all collaborators on any track or album. TuneCore has become the leading independent DIY digital music distributor because Andreea disrupted the status quo, prioritizing artists by giving them more—more services, more support, more money and more global reach. 

She has also risen as a fierce advocate for female and gender expansive creators, commissioning the annual research study BE THE CHANGE: Gender Equity in Music to identify why independent female and gender expansive creators remain underrepresented in the music industry, raise awareness on their challenges, and begin to incite change through strategic alliances with partners across all areas of the music industry. She also serves as a US Ambassador for Keychange and continues to push for a more sustainable, equitable and diverse future within the music industry. 

Since taking over as CEO in 2021, Andreea has been included in multiple Billboard Power Lists including Indie Power Players, International Power Players, and Billboard Women in Music, and in 2022, she was honored as International Woman of the Year at Music Week’s Women In Music event. Under her guidance as CEO, TuneCore was recently named the third most innovative company in music by Fast Company, and was included on Crain’s list of the Best Places to Work in New York in both 2022 and 2023.

Andreea came to TuneCore after years as an eCommerce pioneer in the retail industry, having been at the forefront of retail’s digital transformation. She drove the digital strategy growing Hudson Bay and Lord & Taylor’s eCommerce business from the ground up, consistently delivering double to triple-digit comps in both banners, eventually surpassing the sales volumes of the retail giants’ flagship stores. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University. To the music industry, she brings a unique perspective as well as the digital and marketing expertise necessary to modernize the company. Her perspective—originally as an outsider—has aided her rise as an industry disruptor, helping her to grow the company, unencumbered by traditional industry norms and standards.

Ali Sharif

As Product Director at TuneCore, Ali leads the New Ventures team in the development of enhanced user experiences and new features to help independent artists successfully share their passion with the world. Responsible for examining new partnership opportunities, strategic planning and product execution, Ali is fully focused on delivering the best products and experience for the next generation of independent musicians.

Before joining TuneCore in 2018, Ali was Product Director at Ampology, LLC where he helped drive innovation, strategy and implementation of new products for companies such as Diamond Resorts International an Party City. Prior to that, he co-founded and was Head of product for F2F-660 Digital, a technology firm that developed a platform enabling magazine publications such as Conde Nast Traveler, Shape, Men’s Health and many others to publish and market digital issues of their popular newsstand titles. 

Ali attended Seaton Hall and Rutgers Universities. As a lifelong musician and lover of House Music, Ali is excited to add his skills to a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about improving the lives and careers of independent artists.

Bennett Henson

Bennett Henson joined TuneCore in 2023 as Director of Strategy, where he oversees the development, communication, and execution of strategic initiatives—including partnerships and organic product launches—to achieve new and innovative business for TuneCore, supporting the company’s medium and long term growth goals. 

Henson received his BA in Economics from Washington and Lee University in 2016, before spending two years as a consultant for Accenture, primarily working with payment technology companies. Following his consulting tenure, Henson joined SiriusXM’s Corporate Strategy and Development team where he worked on a number of listener, creator, and podcast initiatives and acquisitions. 

Henson is driven by a desire to help support and grow the number of working class professional musicians. He is an avid fan of live music and regularly attends rock and jam band concerts.
