With a platform like TikTok, artists have been given an opportunity to engage with fans, be discovered by new listeners, and most importantly, express themselves in a fun way while promoting their music. Now, for those of you have questions about the latter portion of that opportunity, we’ve got you covered!
In our latest TuneCore Live Session webinar, we chatted with a few folks who were able to bring their own unique perspective to the table as to how independent artists can make the most of TikTok.
Brandon Holman, Label Partnerships Manager at TikTok, was able to speak to how the platform can amplify an artist’s digital presence, while offering tips for getting started.
TuneCore Artist AdELA offered amazing points for those like herself who jumped on the train a little later (a few months back) in terms of getting comfortable posting, being discovered by a new user base, and how it impacted her streams/followers elsewhere.
And finally Abby Nierman, Creative Strategist at Collab, was able to chime in on the waves being made in the world of influencer/artist and brand relations and how TikTok can truly launch and artist’s career in more ways than many think possible.
