HAMBURG, 20 August, 2020 – TuneCore, the leading global independent distribution company belonging to parent company Believe, has entered into a partnership with online music magazine Hiphop.de. As part of the agreement, each month TuneCore and Hiphop.de will give new and upcoming artists a platform for their music with an online competition where the winner will be awarded by both TuneCore and Hiphop.de. The winning artist will have their songs distributed by TuneCore, where artists receive 100% of sales revenue from their music, and will also be featured on Hiphop.de.
Beginning in August, users will be able to submit entries on Hiphop.de’s “Upcoming” page (www.hiphop.de/upcoming) with the editorial board selecting the top six entries. Hiphop.de visitors will then vote for a monthly winner of this section who will be awarded a coaching session with Head of TuneCore Germany Colin Schrinner, music distribution through TuneCore, and a story on Hiphop.de.
