Though SXSW is coming to a close (way too soon in our opinion!), TuneCore Artists continue to take the stage and share their music with the crowds of Austin.
Check out some great advice and comments below from TuneCore Artists performing at SXSW today and tomorrow, and click here for the full list of TuneCore Artists who played at this year’s festival.

Chuck Ragan – “TuneCore is always on time, friendly and easy to get ahold of when it comes to having your questions answered in full and in a friendly manner.”
Daniel Whittington – “TuneCore has made it easy for me to be represented in a professional and simple way in all the places fans might be looking for my music. And having them manage all those relationships allows me to spend time on so many other things crucial to the success of an independent artist.”
Eshon Burgundy – “I’m going for the artistic experience, to be amongst thousands of other artist and fans alike!”
Fort Frances – “TuneCore is full of a bunch of badass people that support great music.”
Joywave – “Great, fair distribution.”
LUCKYLOU – “Theres no ‘i’ in team. It’s almost impossible to do everything alone.”
Neon Lion – “We think it’s an amazing opportunity to get our music out there!”
Pretty Little Demons – “TuneCore as been invaluable to get our music out there to iTunes and Amazon. Our fans love the convenience of downloading.”
Residual Kid – “We’re 12-14 years old, which gives us a ‘leg down’ on the competition. Therefore, we rock louder, harder and crazier than other bands! We made branded earplug cases for our audience! We will be hard to forget!”
Stephen Kellogg – “It’s difficult to ‘stand out’ at a place like SXSW, but we are going to be ourselves because being anything else would be a waste of time.”
The Orbans – “Drink lots of water. Don’t play in direct sunlight. Play smart shows and not every party in a parking lot with a mic and a karaoke PA system. Have fun! It’s not worth anything if you aren’t enjoying it.”
The Pharcyde – “Do your thing. Work hard. Believe in yourself.”
