TuneCore Contest - Official Rules

These rules (the “Rules”) pertain to and shall govern the terms of participation in the TuneCore Inc. “TuneCore Ad Credit Contest” (the “Contest”). By participating in the Contest, each participant in the Contest (each a “Participant”) irrevocably and unconditionally accepts the same and agrees to be bound by all of the conditions contained herein.

• NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

• DEFINITIONS:

• Sponsor: TuneCore Inc. (“TuneCore”)

  • Contest Entities: TuneCore, TikTok (collectively the “Contest Entities”)

• WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER (hereafter “Eligible Participants”):

  • Eligible Participants must have distributed at least one song through the TuneCore distribution platform between September 2021 and February 2026.
    • Eligible Participants must enter the Contest as described below.
    • Eligible Participants must be legal residents of the United States or Canada and must be 18 years of age or older (for the avoidance of doubt, all members of a musical group must be legal residents of the United States or Canada and 18 years of age or older). Employees of Contest Entities and the Artist Relations Team and members of such employee’s immediate families are not eligible.

• HOW TO ENTER:

  • Eligible Participants may enter the Contest by agreeing to the terms of these Rules and following the instructions located at the following URL: https://www.tunecore.com/tunecore-amplified-tiktok-artist-boost (the “URL”). A winner of the contest will be chosen from eligible and approved entries.
  • Entry Period: Entries must be submitted on or after March 9, 2026, and no later than March 13, 2026.
    Only one entry per Participant may be submitted.
  • Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different addresses, accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods, including an automated system, will void that entrant's entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Each potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. TuneCore shall have the right to determine the identity of a potential winner in its sole discretion.

• HOW THE WINNER IS SELECTED AND NOTIFIED:

  • The contest winner (the “Winner”) will be selected on or before March 18, 2026, by representatives of the TuneCore Artist Relations team (the “Artist Relations Team”) from all eligible entries. The Winner will be selected based on the Artist Relations Team’s professional expertise and experience in the music industry. The decision of the Artist Relations Team shall be made in its sole discretion and shall be final and binding in all respects.
  • The potential Winner will be notified via email following the conclusion of the Entry Period, and in any event no later than March 19, 2026. TuneCore shall not be responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive or incorrect email accounts, technical difficulties, spam filtering, or the potential Winner’s failure to adequately monitor their email account.
  • Winner’s failure to respond by 11:59 p.m. ET on March 20, 2026, or failure to provide the required materials by March 27, 2026, or the return of any prize notification as undeliverable, shall result in disqualification, and TuneCore reserves the right to select an alternate potential Winner from among the remaining eligible entries.

• THE PRIZES:

  • The Winner will receive one (1) advertising credit in the amount of One Thousand U.S. Dollars (US $1,000.00) to be applied toward a TikTok boosted post utilizing TikTok’s “Spark Ads” format (the “Ad Credit”). The boosted content must originate from the Winner’s TikTok account and must comply at all times with TikTok’s terms of service, advertising policies, community guidelines, and all applicable laws and regulations. The Ad Credit will be administered by TuneCore or its designated marketing partner in its sole discretion, and all aspects of the advertising campaign, including without limitation timing, duration, audience targeting, geographic scope, creative format, optimization strategy, and deployment schedule, shall be determined exclusively by TuneCore in its sole discretion. The Ad Credit is non-transferable, may not be redeemed for cash, and must be used within a timeframe determined by TuneCore. Winner is solely responsible for providing all materials, authorizations, and access credentials necessary to execute the Spark Ad, including without limitation a valid Spark code authorization and any required creative assets. TuneCore makes no representations or warranties regarding the performance of the advertisement and does not guarantee any minimum number of impressions, engagements, clicks, streams, followers, conversions, or other results, as advertising outcomes are inherently variable and dependent on factors beyond TuneCore’s control, including platform algorithms and user behavior. All right, title, and interest in and to the Winner’s underlying content shall remain with the Winner, and TuneCore does not assume any ownership interest therein; however, Winner grants TuneCore a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license solely for the purpose of administering and executing the advertising campaign described herein. TuneCore shall not be responsible for any rejection, suspension, removal, limitation, demonetization, or other action taken by TikTok with respect to the boosted content or the Winner’s account.
  • Approximate Retail Value of the prize: One Thousand U.S. Dollars (US $1,000.00).
  • No more than one (1) prize will be awarded per Winner.
  • No more than one (1) prize will be awarded per TuneCore account.

• DISCLAIMER AND RELEASE

  • TuneCore shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by the Winner in connection with the receipt or use of the prize, including without limitation any costs associated with the creation, production, clearance, or delivery of content for the TikTok boosted post. Winner represents and warrants that all content submitted or authorized for promotion is original, lawful, and does not infringe, misappropriate, or otherwise violate the rights of any third party, including without limitation copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or contractual rights, and Winner shall be solely responsible for obtaining any and all necessary permissions, licenses, consents, and clearances. TuneCore makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the performance, reach, effectiveness, or results of the advertising campaign, and expressly disclaims any guarantee of impressions, engagement, streams, followers, conversions, or any other performance metrics, as such outcomes are dependent on factors beyond TuneCore’s control, including platform algorithms, user behavior, and market conditions. TuneCore shall not be liable for any rejection, suspension, removal, limitation, demonetization, or other action taken by TikTok with respect to the promoted content or the Winner’s account. The prize is provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind. By accepting the prize, Winner agrees to release and hold harmless TuneCore and its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the Contest, acceptance or use of the prize, the advertising campaign, or any third-party platform actions, and Winner further agrees to indemnify and defend TuneCore against any third-party claims arising from the content promoted in connection with the prize.

• ADDITIONAL CONTEST TERMS:

  • Decisions of TuneCore and, where applicable, the Artist Relations Team, are final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest. By entering, entrants agree that, except where prohibited by law, TuneCore may use their name, likeness, biographical information, and submitted content for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide and in perpetuity, without additional compensation. Winner may be required to execute a written release confirming such consent.
  • Any information collected from entrants may be used to administer the Contest, communicate with entrants, notify the potential Winner, and otherwise in accordance with these Official Rules and TuneCore’s terms and conditions and privacy policy.
  • No transfer, substitution, or cash redemption of the prize is permitted except at TuneCore’s sole discretion, and TuneCore reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The prize is awarded “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
  • By entering and/or accepting the prize, entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and to release and hold harmless TuneCore, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of the prize.
  • TuneCore reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who, in its reasonable discretion, tampers with the entry process, violates these Official Rules, submits multiple entries in excess of permitted limits, uses automated or fraudulent means to participate, has a TuneCore account that contains content with copyright infringement or fraud allegations against it or otherwise violates TuneCore’s terms and conditions, or otherwise acts in a disruptive or unlawful manner.
  • All federal, state, provincial, and local taxes, and any other costs or expenses not expressly stated as being provided, are the sole responsibility of the Winner.
  • TuneCore is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctions of networks, servers, platforms, or service providers. TuneCore reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by TuneCore in its sole discretion.
  • This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations. Except where prohibited, any disputes arising out of or relating to the Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to class action, and exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts. The remedy for any claim shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket damages, and in no event shall entrant be entitled to recover punitive, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages, or attorneys’ fees.
  • This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok. By entering, entrant acknowledges that they are providing their information to TuneCore and not to TikTok, and releases TikTok from any liability arising out of or relating to the Contest.
  • If entrant has any questions regarding the Contest, entrant may contact TuneCore Artist Support through the support available at TuneCore.com. To request removal from non-prize-related communications, entrants must follow the opt-out instructions provided in TuneCore communications.
  • For the name of the Winner, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope within sixty (60) days after the end of the Entry Period to TuneCore at the address listed below.
  • The Contest is sponsored and administered by TuneCore, Inc., located at 63 Pearl Street, P.O. Box #256, Brooklyn, NY 11201, USA.
